Hourglass ladies have a tiny waist, rounded hips, a voluptuous chest and sometimes may have heavy legs.
Do: Wear v-neck tops and plunging neck lines for a hint of cleavage. Opt for fifties style sweetheart necklines to flatter your bust and draw attention away from heavy arms. Choose fitted crop jackets that nip in at the waist. Invest in black tailored trousers to slim your legs. Wear heels to elongate your legs and lift your bottom. Emphasise your waist with a belt or tailored jacket. Wear boots with skirts to disguise heavy legs.
Don't: Hide your curves under baggy layers. Wear empire waistlines or drop waists - they will make you appear unbalanced. Choose silky flimsy materials - they tend to emphasise bulges - thicker stretchy fabrics are usually more flattering.
