Lewis Hamilton is the youngest ever Formula One World Champion and also managed to secure victory for Britain in the 2008 F1, but to say it was a close call would be a drastic understatement. Hamilton's racing style has always sold papers and ignited national enthusiasm.

Many thought the driver had lost out on the title after he trailed in sixth place during the Brazilian Grand Prix, but in a nail-biting finish he moved up to fifth place and secured the points needed for victory.
