In the movie business, Warren Beatty is definitely one of the men who has had the most mileage with women. A genuine playboy before his 1992 marriage to Annette Bening, he once said: "My notion of a wife at 40 is that a man should be able to change her, like a bank note, for two twenties."

However, the insatiable Oscar winning film legend (and star of the classic 1970s sex comedy 'Shampoo') will have to be a bit more inventive with his maths if a new biography by Peter Biskind is to be taken seriously. The book claims that Beatty slept with a whopping 12,775 women during a 35-year sex spree before settling down with Bening.
