Competing in one of the most difficult Olympic events, the 22-year-old has proven his talent and commitment to the athletes of the British team.
Placing well in the World Cup series, Freeman's luck changed for the worse at the European Championships where he suffered from a broken foot bone mid event. Showing his determination, he ran a further 8km and finished 14th. And now he's back.
