Heather Mills has been awarded £24.3m in her divorce settlement from the former Beatles star.

Speaking outside London's High Court, Mills said she was "glad it's over" and "it was an incredible result to secure mine and my daughter's future". She said she was "very, very happy".

She has been awarded a £16.5m lump sum, including 2.5m to buy London property, 7.8m in assets and 35,000 a year for her daughter Beatrice - plus nanny and school fees.
