Known casually as the "spare part dog" due to its appearance resembling numerous breeds of dogs rolled into one, the Glen of Imaal is in danger.

Only 25 breeding bitches remain in Britain. There are fewer of these dogs than giant pandas, and there is widespread fear that these adorable pooches could be completely extinct within 10 years.

Unfortunately, there are plenty more traditional breeds are in danger across the UK.
