'The Lord of the Rings' (2002)

Creepy features: Once a normal Hobbit named Sméagol, he became a slave to the Ring of Power when he stole it from his friend. Prisoner to the ring, his life was extended far beyond its natural limits leading him to look thin, hunchbacked, aged and balding. He developed a split personality between Sméagol and Gollum and began a constant battle with the evil thinking latter.

Friend or foe? Foe! No matter how friendly he may seem his one true desire is to possess the ring and he will stop at nothing to do so.
