Girls Aloud started as a reality TV girlband who no one really thought would make it. Fast forward eight years and they are one of the biggest selling girlbands of all time.

Not only are they a success as a group, but also individually each Aloud-er has placed a mark in her own right in the entertainment industry.

The rumour mill, however, has inevitably been on over-drive ever since the five-piece announced they were taking a break from working together to concentrate on solo projects and it is said to be the relationship between Cheryl and Nadine which has postponed a renunion.
