Melanie Brown and Stephen Belafonte

Former Spice Girl Mel B gave birth to a baby girl at the beginning of September, her third child but her first with husband Stephen.

Melanie's spokesperson confirmed the news in a statement, but Scary Spice took to her Twitter to give a more personal account, posting:

"Finally our baby arrives, Stephen nearly passed out, Phoenix screamed, I laughed so hard the baby popped out!!! She is just sooo amazing!!"

Mel already has two children from previous relationships, 12-year-old Phoenix Chi and Angel, four.
