One of the original Charlie's Angels, Farrah Fawcett has made a career out of being a sex kitten. The high-maintenance actress was involved in abusive relationships throughout the '80s and '90s with actor Ryan O'Neal and producer James Orr, who viciously attacked her in 1998 after she turned down his marriage proposal.

Perhaps not surprisingly, two of her most acclaimed roles have been as a battered wife and a rape victim. Fawcett raised eyebrows considerably in 1997 when she made a positively rambling and incoherent appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman, leading many to suspect she had a serious drug addiction.
