A lock of Justin Bieber's hair rasied just over £25,000 for charity after it went up for auction.

Bieber gave the piece of hair to US talkshow host Ellen Degeneres, having changed his trademark swept style in February 2011.

There were 98 bids in total with bidding for the hair, which came in a signed box.

Funds from the sale were donated to The Gentle Barn, a charity which helps at-risk inner city kids and rehabilitates neglected farm animals.
