Gary Lineker
His international goals-to-games ratio remains one of the best in British football and he is regarded as one of the all-time best English strikers. Going overseas from Everton in 1985 saw Lineker enjoy a profitable spell with Barcelona where he helped the side win the Copa del Rey in 1988 and the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1989.
