"Brookie", was a soap opera based in Liverpool, it aired from Channel 4's first ever night. The gritty storylines had the nation gripped until viewing figures dropped in 2000. However the soap has some memorable charters, including Jimmy Corkhill and Sinbad. And who could forget that lesbian kiss between Beth and Margaret? - the first scene of its kind on British TV.
