In a shoddy and inferior rip off of the previous Bond outing, 'The Spy Who Loved Me', this sees the bearded billionaire Hugo Drax plot to wipe out the entire world from space and return to earth afterwards to re-create human existence with a master race.

His bid for genocide will be accomplished using a rare orchid that kills humans but not plant life or animals, handily enough. 'Moonraker' culminates in a dire laser battle in outer space between Drax's men and some marines.

Even Bond seems surprised at the ridiculousness of this plan as Drax has obviously not catered for how he's going to survive in this new world which would be overrun by a wild animal population. And that's if he can get back to Earth.
