Are they true? Outlandish medical hypotheses
Sunny days make men violent
Violent crime in the Northern Hemisphere peaks in July and August and is at its lowest in December. In the Southern Hemisphere the opposite is true; there is also an increase in acts of aggression by nations against each other during the sunny months.
The researchers at the Ben-Gurion University in Israel believe that lower levels of Serotonin during the summer months are the cause.
