Quick, simple and harmless… simply unplug the kettle/switch it off and tell your workmates that it’s broken! (this prank will only work best if you can’t see the plug easily). Be prepared to quickly explain you were joking on April Fools’ Day though, as you wouldn’t want to upset anyone in the work place who is in need of a hot drink on their break!
