ER actress gives birth

Former 'ER' star Parminder Nagra has given birth to a baby boy.

The British actress, who played Dr Neela Rasgotra in the hospital drama, and her husband, photographer James Stenson, are said to be "thrilled".

This is the couple's first child together. They have named him Kai David Singh Stenson.

A representative for the pair said: "Mother, daddy and baby are all doing great."

Nagra found fame in hit 2002 film 'Bend It Like Beckham' which she starred in alongside Keira Knightley.

The actress married Stenson in January, after seven years together.

The actress fell pregnant while filming the final series of 'ER'. The final episode will air in the UK in June on More 4.
