News broke that a heartbroken Dougie from boyband McFly checked into rehab back in March 2011.

He spent a month in The Priory after struggling to come to terms with his split from girlfriend The Saturdays star, Frankie Sandford.

Dougie's bandmate, Tom Fletcher took to his Twitter profile at the time to explain the situation, posting:

"He's just been having a tough time lately and needed a few weeks rest so he's fighting fit and ready to slap that bass for you on tour."
