Claudia: Sorry for rant
BBC presenter says there were ‘technical difficulties’...
10:59 10 November 2010
Claudia Winkleman was forced to apologise last night after footage of her swearing was accidentally broadcast at the beginning of her Film 2010 show.
As the programme started, viewers heard a four-letter-word rant which was apparently down to a technical difficulty.
The presenter, 38, who co-hosts the show with film critic Danny Leigh, apologised twice during the show.
Winkleman told viewers “'Before we review this film can I just say I'm really sorry, because I think there was a technical difficulty at the top of the show and you might have heard stuff and I apologise if there was. If you didn't, just ignore what I just said."
Claudia took over presenting the show from Jonathan Ross after he resigned from the BBC following the Sachsgate scandal, making her debut a month ago.
