American singer Pink has revealed that she is expecting her first child with husband Carey Hart.

The 31-year-old, who reconciled with her husband in 2009 after a year apart, is 12 weeks pregnant and is said to be “really happy” about the news.

The couple infamously separated in 2008 after a somewhat temperamental relationship; Pink penned several songs about Carey on one of her albums, verbally bashing him for his behaviour towards her.

Pink and Carey are now said to be stronger than ever, especially after hearing the news.

The singer had previously claimed that she would like to become a mum after finishing her gruelling tour, which sees her perform acrobatics for her legion of fans.

Earlier this year, she was rushed to hospital after falling from a height whilst hoisted up mid-air. She was later released after suffering minor injuries.
