The under-30s have made a big impact this year, if the Hollywood rich list is anything to go by.

Half of those who made it into ForbesÂ’ list of the top female earners in the industry are in their 20s or teens, with Lady Gaga being one of the biggest.

Along with Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift and Beyoncѐ, Gaga and her fellow generation of females have earned almost £200million collectively.

29-year-old Beyoncѐ, who came second in the list, earned £56million whilst 28-year-old Britney Spears earned £41million and came third.

They were pipped to first place by 56-year-old chat show giant Oprah Winfrey, who earned a whopping £203million.

Lady Gaga, 24 earned an overall income of £40million and Madonna, 52 earned £40million. They came fourth and fifth respectively.

Sandra Bullock (£37million), Ellen DeGeneres (£35million), Miley Cyrus (£30million), Taylor Swift (£29million), and Judge Judy (£29million) made up the rest of the list.
