George Clooney says looks are irrelevant when it comes to love.
Although the Hollywood heartthrob admits he is attracted to a pretty face, it's a great personality that makes a successful relationship.
He said: "Beyond the physical attraction, you have to like each other and how they behave."
However, George, who is currently romancing British TV presenter Lisa Snowdon, admits it's hard to date when you're as famous as he is.
He added: "It's hard when you're famous, because every first date is photographed and it raises the stakes."
Meanwhile, the handsome actor has revealed how his time on hit medical show 'ER' came in handy when he had his recent spinal surgery - because he could speak medical jargon to the nurses.
George, who shot to fame ten years ago playing Dr Ross, said in an interview with Britain's Saturday Times magazine: "It was funny in hospital, I'd say to the nurses, 'Is my pulse up? What are my numbers?' All that jargon I picked up on the show."
