Gwyneth Paltrow has put her New York home up for sale - fuelling speculation she is set to live in Britain permanently.
The Oscar-winning actress, who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, has put the four-storey property, which is expected to fetch £4million, on the market.
A source said: "Gwyneth's home is a lovely property, which she should have no difficulty selling speedily."
The Hollywood star made the decision because she wants to spend more time in the London home she shares with Chris and their nine-month-old daughter, Apple.
Last year, it was rumoured that the couple's new London home was haunted.
Previous residents of the plush £3.2million house, in the city's smart Belsize Park area, claimed the property had an "eerie feeling" and had brought bad fortune to families that have lived there.
A neighbour revealed: "The house has an eerie feeling. Past inhabitants have been plagued by bad luck and unhappiness."
Gwyneth bought the mansion from Hollywood actress Kate Winslet and her director husband, Sam Mendes, last September.
