Peter Dickson, the man who has been doing X Factor’s voiceovers for the past 11 years, has announced that he is leaving the show on Twitter, saying it was time to “check out and cut loose” after the “best 11 years.”
Dickson also does voiceovers for Britain’s Got Talent and Live At The Apollo.
An X Factor spokeswoman said: "We can confirm Peter Dickson has left the X Factor after 11 fantastic years.
"Everyone involved in the show would like to thank him for his sterling service for us over the years and we all wish him well in the future.
Dickson’s announcement came following the exits of original judge Louis Walsh, fellow panelist Mel B, and long-standing presenter Dermot O’Leary. Meanwhile, Rita Ora and Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw has joined The X Factor judging panel for 2015 while Caroline Flack and Olly Murs are the new presenters.
ITV has yet to announce Dickson’s replacement.
