X Factor's singing sensation, Danyl Johnson, is flying out to the US to appear on the 'Today' show, according to reports.
The school teacher from Reading received an invite American TV network NBC and is expected to fly out to New York later this week.
Johnson's performance on the opening episode of the X Factor saw a standing ovation from all four judges - Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue – and the live audience, who went on to chant his name.
His rendition of The Beatles' hit 'With A Little Help From My Friends' has also received over a million views on YouTube.
Interest in Johnson is expected to follow that of Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle, who was invited to appear on the 'Today' show after her audition prompted similar popularity on YouTube.
An insider told The Sun that X Factor bosses were surprised at the instant attention Johnson's audition has produced, saying: "Not even we expected things to move this quickly."
