Ex-England footballer Dennis Wise has pulled out of the new series of I'm a Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here.
The man famed for his cockney humour and quick temper on the pitch has had to call off an away fixture in the Australian jungle because of footballing commitments, according to the People newspaper.
Wise, who set up his team's only goal this weekend, cannot afford to leave London side Millwall for the two weeks needed to film the reality TV show.
A source from ITV told the newspaper: "It's a shame. Wisey is very funny."
But Wise's withdrawal has not killed the momentum of the programme.
The News Of The World reported this weekend that former East 17 singer Brian Harvey and the model Emma B have signed up for the show - despite rumours to the contrary.
Olympic ice-skating legends Torvill and Dean, ex-EastEnder Sid Owen, former Steps singer Lisa Scott-Lee, one-hit-wonder Chesney Hawkes, kids TV host Timmy Mallett and disgraced football manager Ron Atkinson are also linked with the project.
The footballing theme continues with the England manager's ex-girlfriend, Nancy Dell'Olio, reportedly offered 120,000 to appear.
