The popular game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is set to return to the tube soon, and it is letting the general public join in on the fun once again, just like it originally did in 1998.
The show, which will still be hosted by Chris Tarrant, will debut with a three-day special on ITV1 next week. It will once again feature non-celebrities, for the first time in two years, and will be held live, not recorded.
The game show now offers more to the general public too, as they will also be given the chance to play along online. Their scores will be ranked on a leaderboard that will be placed at the studio.
The new show will air every night from Monday to Wednesday on ITV1 at nine o’clock PM. Those who wish to participate and play along can visit itv.com/millionaire.
The game show, which was named after a song by Frank Sinatra and became so popular it even sparked an Oscar-winning film, has been suffering from declining ratings due to the onset of several popular shows such as The X Factor. However, the show still brings in a lot of followers by general standards.
