What is VPN and how can you use them?

It is specifically designed to protect users from censorship, snooping and interference. They can be extremely useful especially if you need to use WiFi hotspots in public places and if you need to unlock services that are blocked from your real location.

 

 

To use VPN, one must sign up for the service. Many companies that offer VPN services have three tiers depending on how long you want to commit for. Once the sign up process is completed, the user will need to download and install the app to their computer.

 

By opening the app, the user will be given an option to choose the server they want to connect to. This will be the virtual location or what the internet thinks is your current location. This service will allow you to watch UK shows wherever you are in the world.

 

Many services have a big button at the top of the gadget that allows users to connect to the server when they are ready and disable the connection at any time.
