Virtual Meetings to Continue for Dorset Council

Dorset Council to continue committee, Cabinet and full council meetings virtually in coming weeks.

Dorset Council has confirmed its decision to continue to hold larger committee meetings virtually over the next few weeks. It said that although in-person meetings will resume soon, webcasting of its meetings will not stop. 

 

A council spokesman said: "We aim to retain the best of remote working, including greater visibility of the democratic process for residents through online broadcasting, and reduced travel, while also complying with the law and returning to in person meetings for voting councillors in the near future."
