Bruntwood Works launches Manchester's "smartest workplace" featuring a 'central nervous system' and fancy circadian lighting system.

Bruntwood Works has officially launched Manchester's "smartest workplace" at 111 Piccadilly as part of its £50million 'Pioneer' transformation programme. 

 

The workplace, which has been described by the firm as the city's most tech-enhanced office, features a 'central nervous system', a new lighting system that replicates the body's 24-hour cycle and smart tech platform designed to connect a physical space with its people, processes and systems using data to enhance user experience. 

 

The workspace is also equipped with sensors to monitor space utilisation, air quality and energy usage in a bid to help reduce waste and improve operational efficiencies. 

 

Andrew Cooke, strategic director at Bruntwood Works, said: “The cutting-edge technology we’ve introduced at 111 Piccadilly will transform the building and its environment for the benefit of the people within it.

 

"By collating real-life data about how and when the building is used we will be able to provide an even better customer experience, and ultimately create more efficient and sustainable workspaces.
