The Oscar Nominations for 2013 are revealed
Lincoln grabs 12 nominations, while Life Of Pi is nominated for 11 awards

Nominations for this year’s Academy Awards have now been announced, with Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln coming out on top with 12 nominations. The film Life Of Pialso secured many votes with 11 nominations.
Les Miserables is included in the list for best picture, with Daniel Day-Lewis being nominated for best actor in Lincoln. Among those nominated for best film are also Argo and Django Unchained.
Naomi Watts has been put up for the award of best actress for the film The Impossible, which is based on the story of a family who suffered the 2004 tsunami in Thailand. David O Russell is nominated for best director for Silver Linings Playbook.
The awards will be handed out next month February 24th at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre, and the ceremony is expected to be hosted by American funny-man, Seth Macfarlane.
Lincoln also picked up ten nominations for the Bafta’s this week, with Life Of Pi and Les Miserables collecting nine. The latest James Bond film Skyfall received eight nominations for the 2013 Bafta’s.
