Britain’s renewed love for baking has taken the country by storm. In a short time, it has become one of the biggest trends among Brits. As a sign of the revived popularity of baking, the UK will see its first baking exhibition the ‘Cake and Bake Show’ open this month at Earls Court.
The show offers a wide assortment of features targeted to home bakers and professional bakers.
It will also bring together the biggest names in the world of baking, such as ‘Great British Bake Off’ judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood, winners EddKimber and Jo Wheatley, as well as Eric Lanlard, Richard Bertinet, Tom Herbert of Fabulous Baker, and renowned chocolatier Paul A Young, among several others.
The show’s highlights include a dedicated cake demonstration area featuring Mary Berry, a dedicated bread area and demonstration theatre backed by the Real Bread Campaign, and a food market where attendees can buy breads, pies, and cakes as well as the latest baking equipment available in the market.
It will also offer classroom tutorials on the latest trends and techniques in baking, as well as expert-instructed classes and demonstrations targeted especially for sugar-craft fans. The said class will feature Squires Kitchen’s International School and Mich Turner MBE.
There will also be a children’s area to be fronted by Annabel Karmel of CiTV. It will offer young amateur bakers to test their skills on a set of categories.
Baking fans of all ages and from all walks of life are invited for a weekend of guaranteed fun, enjoyment, and education.
