Healthcare Group, a UK-based telehealth provider, secured £4 million investment from Medicash.

Now Healthcare Group (NHG), a UK-based telehealth provider has secured a £4million investment from Medicash, a leading health cash plan provider. The investment allows NHG to develop artificial intelligence solutions to deliver faster diagnoses through its existing mobile app. 

 

NHG, which was founded by Lee Dentith in 2015, provides digital healthcare services through its brands, including:

 

·       Dr Now – A diagnostic and pharmaceutical conveyance platform that offers patients cloud-based medical consultation with MRCGP-certified professionals via encrypted VoIP communications.

 

·       Now GP – Allows users to have on-the-go video consultations with qualified NHS doctors.

 

·       Now Pharmacy – Supplies the UK with privately-issued medications via the firm’s pharmaceutical transportation and dispatch service.

 

In a statement, Lee Dentith said: “This investment and partnership is a fantastic opportunity for both NHG and Medicash to be able to develop new and exciting products for the insurance market in a live environment. Medicash will enable us to explore services and demands for both private individuals and companies, which can potentially provide a game-changing scenario for the digital private medical insurance market. We are aiming to test and develop products to over 100,000 business clients and over 100,000 private individuals,”
