Surprise, Suprise returns

One-off show set for later this year, with a new host...

Iconic ITV show Surprise, Surprise is to return for a special one-off show later this year.

This Morning's Holly Willoughby will host the hour-long show, which will feature a number tear-jerking surprises and dramatic family reunions, in the quest to make some dreams come true..

Willoughby, who is also set to front the BBC's latest reality show, The Voice, from 24 March, said of her new role:

"What an incredible honour to be asked to present this Surprise, Surprise special for ITV1. I canÂ’t wait to get out there delivering new surprises to the nation."

Michael Kelpie, Executive Producer and Creative Director at ITV, said: 

"Surprise, Surprise is one of those iconic ITV shows that I remember watching with my family growing up and the chance of bringing it back is a dream come true."

The original series of Surprise, Surprise was presented by Cilla Black and ran from May 1984 to September 1997; returning for four specials between 1998 and 2001.

Producers are currently scouring the country and want to hear from anyone who would like to nominate someone special in their community for this one-off programme.
