Sophie's Morning no show
TV
13:30 21 September 2006
Sophie Anderton enraged 'This Morning' host Philip Schofield when she failed to turn up for a scheduled live appearance on the show yesterday (20.09.06) - and turned off her mobile phone.
The 'Love Island' loser had allegedly been out partying the night before and a furious Schofield branded her "unprofessional" live on air.
Co-host Fern Briton seemed genuinely concerned about the former model, who was due to compete in the 'Beat the Stylist' competition on the show, but Schofield said: "Sophie, please ring someone and tell them you're OK. If you are OK, then your behaviour is completely unprofessional and unforgivable."
Sophie, 29, had attended a party for Gina Shoes as part of London Fashion Week the night before and was photographed leaving nightclub Boujis in the early hours of the morning.
However, the reformed alcoholic and drug addict's agent defended her no-show, insisting she was ill, saying: "She's not been well. She texted me to say she couldn't make it and that she had the flu.
"She is now on the mend and has apologised to 'This Morning' and will reschedule her appearance."
Lingerie model Sophie was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder, previously known as manic depression.
