Bradley back to face Debra

'Coronation Street' star Bradley Walsh returned to the set of the soap yesterday (19.09.06) for the first time since his news of his alleged affair with co-star Debra Stephenson was revealed.

Bradley - who had just returned from Poland, where he was allegedly having "crisis talks" with his wife Donna - appeared red-eyed and dishevelled as he arrived at the Manchester studios at 8am.

The 46-year-old actor was given time off by the soap's bosses to fly to the eastern European country, where Donna is choreographing the Miss World contest, after claims that he and married Debra "were deeply in love" came out.

However, Bradley - who plays Debra's on-screen ex-husband Danny Baldwin in the hit soap - has denied the cheating allegations and insists his relationship with Donna is "fantastic".

He said: "There is nothing going on. I don't know what all the fuss is about. I have talked with my wife and things are fine. I am fine, she is fine and everything is fantastic."

Father-of-one Bradley and Debra - who is 18 weeks pregnant with her and her husband James' second child - are said to be trying hard to sort out the confusing situation.

A show source said: "It is a mess but both hope they can sort things out with their partners."
