Coronation Street's Helen Flanagan (who plays the soap's temptress Rosie Webster) has been spotted dating Chelsea footballer Scott Sinclair.

Sinclair is currently on loan at Wigan Athletic and 20-year-old actress turned up to watch the evening game.

A source for the Daily Mirror stated: "It is early days but they seem to really like each other.

"They are both young and are just having fun at the moment, but they do get on very well together."

Flanagan's real-life romance is coincidentally echoing her character's life of the street. Rosie, whose primary ambition is to become a glamour model, starts dating who she thinks is a "hunky" footballer named Kyle Dimitri.

But after bragging to the crowd in the Rovers Return pub that she "was born to be a WAG", she will discover that Kyle isn't actually a footballer at all - he just sells burgers outside the ground instead of playing for Weatherfield County.
