ATi UK has donated SiteBox smart water quality systems to nightingale hospitals that are currently providing care to critically ill coronavirus patients. The firm, which specialises in the manufacturing of electrochemical sensors, aims to help ensure that hospitals have easy access to clean, reliable and safe water during the Covid-19 pandemic.
SiteBox, the firm's portable, water treatment control and policing system, has been installed into healthcare facilities in various locations in Manchester and Bristol, with other installations in the pipeline across the UK and Spain.
Garry Tabor, ATi UK Executive Director, said: "ATi UK is proud to be working with our utility partners to support the NHS Nightingale hospitals and international facilities during the current pandemic.
"SiteBox will ensure that these water companies are going above and beyond the usual guidelines to safeguard water quality for staff and patients during this difficult time. By continually measuring parameters such as pH, conductivity, chlorine and turbidity, the Nightingale Hospitals will have some of the best characterised and protected installations in the country and we are extremely proud to be part of these collaborations.
"We are a values-based company and are passionate about supporting communities and during this pandemic, we are prioritising local communities in any way we can."
