Scarlett's $4m face

Scarlett Johansson has signed a $4million deal to become the new face of cosmetics giant L'Oreal.

The Hollywood beauty will star in TV adverts for the company - famous for its slogan "because you're worth it."

The new deal was revealed just weeks after the beautiful star's two-year contract with Calvin Klein fragrances ended.

Scarlett will appear in ads displaying a range of hair colours, swapping her trademark blonde locks for other L'Oreal shades.

The 21-year-old actress - who is from Polish and Danish descent - was ranked ninth in a 100 Sexiest Women in the World poll, conducted by British magazine FHM.

The curvy blonde says she loves being called sexy - but admits she doesn't always feel desirable.

She recently said: "It's nice when people tell you you're sexy. I don't think I'll ever get tired of it. Hopefully I'll remain sexy for some time.

"But I know what I look like when I wake up in the morning after three hours sleep. On those days, I think, 'Oh my God, I need a hat today'."
