Rupert Grint to grace West End stage
Theatre may be the next great accomplishment for the already well-known actor from the Harry Potter series.
09:49 03 August 2013
A favourite redhead from the Harry Potter trio is set to make another appearance, this time on stage in West End. He’ll be appearing with the likes of Ben Whishaw, who plays Q in the most recent Bond films.
Rupert Grint will be directed by Ian Rickson, who also directed the original production in 1995 that was later made into a movie adaptation. Rupert Grint fans will no doubt be thrilled to see even more of the young actor’s talent with this new production.
Previews for the new revived Mojo production will be held at the Harold Printer Theatre on 26th October.
It appears as though Rupert Grint had to endure a read-through tryout for the play though he was already well-known for his authentic and masterful portrayal of the character Ron Weasley from the Harry Potter films. Weasley’s character evolves throughout the films to show a wide diversity of emotions and displays Grint’s capabilities.
With the Mojo setting of a seedy 1950’s Soho night club, fans of Grint will be able to appreciate an even greater depth of talent and will want to catch this performance live.
