PM and DM battle again
11:09 29 September 2010
David Cameron and Nick Clegg are again going head to head; this time in a battle of who is fittest.
The Prime Minister and his second in command have apparently challenged each other to see who can lose the most weight.
Both have gained the weight since going to power four months ago and are said to be eager to out-do each other.
Whilst Cameron is not adverse to fitness, throughout his campaign he was often seen running in the early mornings, training with Army members and cycling five miles a day, Clegg has stopped his regular jogs due to the heat of his new position.
Each would like to regain their fitness, despite the heavy workload they now bear.
Cameron has now employed the fitness guru to the stars Matt Roberts, whose past clients include Naomi Campbell and Amanda Holden.
All About Weight has also offered the pair its services by tailoring a free weight loss programme to suit each of them.
Alison Wetton, CEO of Britain’s fastest growing weight loss specialists All About Weight said: “It is not unusual for men in early middle age to start piling on the pounds.
“It is particularly difficult for Cameron and Clegg because they attend almost daily lunches and banquettes. The answer for them is the same as anyone else: sensible lifestyle change and food choices,”
