EastEnders hardman Dirty Den will be killed by Phil Mitchell, according to press reports.

Things go wrong for Den when Phil returns in the New Year, according to the Daily Star.

Phil finds out that that Den is bedding his wife while he has been on the run for an armed robbery that he was set up for.

"This could have terrible, and fatal, repercussions for Den.

"[Phil] Mitchell's incandescent with rage and nowhere is safe for Den."

Of course, this is not the first time either of them has been involved in a murder attempt.

Both of the Square's gangsters have had brushes with death. Den was shot from inside a bunch of flowers, and Phil was hit when Lisa - the mother of his child - fired at him.
