Legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne will front a new advertising campaign ahead of this year's Children in Need.

The 25th anniversary edition of the BBC's televised charity appeal will take place in November.

Ahead of the historic show, the Beeb will turn to a string of celebrities to encourage members of the public to take part.

According to the Sun newspaper, the first ad will show Ozzy with tape over his mouth as he does his best to go 24 hours without swearing.

The self-proclaimed Prince of Darkness tears off the gag to launch into one of his famous tirades, proving that raising money for charity is no walk in the park.

A second ad will feature former Spice Girl Emma Bunton trying to be bad.
