Oxford College CCTV Plans

An Oxford college plans to use CCTV to aid in the detection and prevention of criminal activity.

An application for the installation of a new CCTV camera has been submitted to Oxford City Council in the hopes to crack down on criminal behaviour in the area. St Peter wishes to install the camera on the corner of the Law Centre, the church-like building at the top of New Road on the left.

 

In its application, the college said that the primary purpose is to increase security in Law Centre car park and the old Oxford Central Conservative Club.
