Sharon Osbourne is planning to sell her Los Angeles home after finding out that Simon Cowell will be moving in next door.

The Pop Idol and X Factor Judge achieved good ratings in the US after appearing in their version of the show, American Idol, and plans to move into a 5 million mansion in Beverly Hills next year.

However his new pad is said to be next door to the Osbournes. The ongoing spat between music boss Cowell and Sharon Osbourne started after they clashed on the show X Factor.

A source told the Daily Star: "Sharon just wants to sell up and move out to save having to chat to him over the garden fence."

"I don't think they'll go round with a house-warming gift - she can't stand him."

According to reports, Cowell is trying to maintain a good relationship with Osbourne, in hope that she will return to the show in 2005.
