A new computer game will be launched to allow pop wannabes to discover if they have the "X Factor" from the comfort of their own homes, reports suggest.
The X Factor Sing game is being released to coincide with the latest series of the ITV1 talent show and will allow players to have their singing ability measured by programme judges Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh.
The game will reportedly analyse the tone, pitch and timing of players voices when they sing into a microphone and provide feedback in the form of witty comments from the two pop moguls.
The new product, designed for the Playstation 2 and personal computers, is being launched by games publisher Black Bean on October 21.
Players will be able to choose to sing along to a selection of 20 tracks, including songs by Natalie Imbruglia, the Sugababes and Ronan Keating.
It will also feature footage from the X Factor show, including the most entertaining clips from the series.
"The X Factor Sing is a really exciting title which will appeal to a massive audience bringing gaming to a whole new market," said Marco Minoli, head of marketing at Black Bean.
"It's fun and incredibly entertaining, and we are delighted to be publishing it in the UK," he added.
