N-Dubz have revealed that they are to record this yearÂ’s alternative Christmas Day message, which will be broadcast on Channel 4 at the same time as the QueenÂ’s.
Rapper Dappy from the band, who ironically will meet the monarch at this yearÂ’s Royal Variety Performance on 7 December, told fans that the message will also be available on their Myspace page.
He said: “We thought it would be cool to do a special Christmas message to rival the Queen's speech but I'll be giving a very different take on things to Her Majesty.
"I'm going to be talking about things that matter to young people today, keeping it real and relevant."
He added that heÂ’s excited to meet the Queen and that he will even remove his infamous headgear in honour.
The speech will go up against Sky 1Â’s alternative Christmas Day message, which will feature Pineapple Dance StudioÂ’s eccentric dancer Louis Spence.
