Celebrity hypnotist Paul McKenna has been dumped on live television.

His girlfriend Liz Fuller sent him a text message telling him to tune in to her programme on Auction World.

After he had switched on, the ex-model labelled him "emotionally inadequate" and told him it was over between them, according to The Sun.

The announcement came during an engagement ring sale, Fuller turned to face the camera and told McKenna she was leaving him. While closing the bidding on one item, she said: "Going, going, gone - like you."

She said: "I suddenly thought why am I going out with this man? He's nice but doesn't know how to relate to me or deal with me on an emotional level.

"I've tried to tell him it's not working and I don't think he's got the message. He will now."
