Kitten out in the cold
Anarchist first to go from Big Brother.
00:33 04 June 2004
24-year-old Brighton-based "political activist" Kat "Kitten" Pinder has been booted out of Big Brother.
Big Brother told the housemates that one of them would have to go after Kitten Pinder flouted the rules once too often.
Kitten - first person to be evicted from the Big Brother house this year- got the chop after she broke one too many rules. During the last week, she painted walls with anti-war slogans and staged at least "roof-top" protests and refused to go to the Diary Room when called during the first weekly Live Task.
Last night she was initially not for going.
But when Big Brother told the housemates the ?100,000 prize money would be reduced for every minute she stayed, there was no question of what would come next. The "lesbian anarchist" was virtually thrown out.
In real life, Kitten is due to appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court accused of non-payment of fines.
Kitten was 4/6 favourite with bookies William Hill to be axed on Friday night. Ahmed was second favourite at 7/4.
