Cockney geezer Maxwell is continuing his unlikely campaign to woo white witch Mary in the Big Brother house.
But the 24-year-old's own charms failed to bewitch the psychic Londoner, who told him his feelings were unrequited after some apparent flirting between the pair on Sunday.
"Not in a million years. You're not my type," said Mary.
Maxwell, apparently unable to accept that anyone of the opposite sex could fail to resist his charms, insisted: "I'd talk you round.
"I'll wear you down. You'll get so fed up with me trying it on you'd give up in the end."
But Mary figured she wasn't the only girl he had eyes for and correctly guessed that Maxwell fancied three people in the house. Accused by her of fancying anything in a skirt, the cocky engineer accepted her judgment as harsh but fair.
After celebrating her 31st birthday with her housemates as midnight struck on Sunday night, Mary finally seemed to be adjusting to life in the Big Brother house and even cheeky charmer Anthony was quick to tell the wacky witch she looked good for her age.
But not all the housemates had such a fun evening, including Norfolk hairdresser Craig who broke down in tears on the Big Brother couch blubbering: "If people are trying to wear me down, they are succeeding."
Mouthy Makosi also turned on the waterworks after refusing to take part in a task to win her housemates some booze.
"If I wash up the aprons everyone will get some alcohol tonight," she told everyone, before refusing to do so.
Makosi, who is on a secret mission to save herself from eviction by getting the most nominations, eventually capitulated after feeling the wrath of her housemates, but only time will tell if she has made enough enemies to stay in the house.
